Hello! I'm Claire Conner, I am a 5'9" junior OH/DS for Club Texas Volleyball's CTV 17.1 Elite-Christy (#6) and for the Weatherford High School's Lady Roos (#11). From the moment I stepped onto the volleyball court in third grade, I knew it was where I belonged. Volleyball isn't just a sport to me; it's a passion that runs deep.
I owe much of my love for the game to my incredible role models: my mother and sister, both of whom excelled in volleyball during their high school years. Their dedication and skill ignited a fire within me that continues to burn brightly.
Outside of volleyball, I come from a family of athletes. With an older sister and two older brothers, sports have always been a prominent part of our lives. One of my brothers even holds the prestigious title of Texas State Powerlifting Champion, while my dad proudly played for the Permian High School Panther state championship team back in 1989.
In essence, sportsmanship and competition are woven into the fabric of my family, and I'm eager to continue that legacy both on and off the court. Whether it's spiking a ball over the net or supporting my teammates, I'm always ready to embrace the thrill of the game and the camaraderie it fosters.
Join me as I journey through high school and club ball, fueled by my passion for volleyball and the unwavering support of my amazing family. Together, we'll strive for victory and celebrate the joy of sportsmanship every step of the way as I pursue my dream of playing Division 1 college volleyball enabling me to earn my degree, majoring in child development and business.
